No. My Equine Adopt never takes part in an adoption. We publish listings and provide contact details. The adoption, any agreement, paperwork or fee is arranged entirely between you and the owner, shelter or rescue.

No. We do not verify identity, licensing, references, background or the accuracy of any listing. Every user is responsible for doing their own due diligence before adopting or rehoming an animal.

No. My Equine Adopt does not charge adoption fees, commissions or platform fees. Any fee requested by a shelter, rescue or owner is theirs and is paid directly to them.

Shelters, rescues and private owners with an account can list an animal. You must be 18 or older, and you must be legally entitled to rehome the animal you list.

Every listing shows the contact details provided by the person or organization — name, email and optionally a phone number and website. You contact them directly; nothing goes through My Equine.

Yes. Shelters and rescues can create an account and list animals in their care using the same direct-contact listing tools.

Provide complete, honest information about the animal, its health, temperament, needs and history. Speak directly with potential adopters, ask appropriate questions and use a written agreement.

Sign in and tap the heart on any animal to save it. Saved animals appear on your Favorites page so you can compare them and come back later.

Shelters and rescues can create an account and list the animals in their care. They can also be featured in the “Shelters we support” section with their logo, description, website and a direct donation link.

Donation buttons link directly to the shelter or rescue’s own donation page. 100% of what you give goes to them. My Equine never receives, holds, processes or distributes donation funds.

Ask for health and veterinary records, meet the animal in person when possible, be honest about temperament and needs, and put any agreement in writing. Make sure you can meet the animal's long-term care, housing and cost requirements before committing.

You are. Every interaction and agreement happens directly between independent users, at their own risk. My Equine Adopt is not a party to any adoption or rehoming arrangement.

Use the Report a problem option on the site and include the listing link and your concern. If an animal or person is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local authority.
