1. Acceptance
By creating an account, publishing a listing, or paying for a listing, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Liability Waiver. We keep a record of the version you accepted, the date, and your account.
2. Operator
My Equine Adopt LLC operates this website. Your contract is only with My Equine Adopt LLC.
3. The service
My Equine Adopt is a marketplace where users publish and find listings for animal adoption, rehoming, and sales of animals. Users deal directly with each other. My Equine Adopt does not own, care for, inspect, transport, or guarantee any animal, and is not a party to any adoption, sale, or other agreement between users.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.
5. Accounts
You are responsible for your login and for all activity on your account. Tell us immediately at myequineadopt@hotmail.com about any unauthorised use.
6. Listings
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your listings, including photos, descriptions, the animal's health, history, temperament, vaccinations, and any fees or conditions. Listings must not misrepresent an animal.
7. No verification
Unless the website clearly states otherwise, My Equine Adopt does not verify identity, the health, temperament, or history of any animal, the legality of any adoption or sale, or the suitability of any buyer or adopter. Users must check the animal, its records, and the other party before any adoption, sale, or transport.
8. Animal welfare
Users must comply with all applicable animal welfare, health, identification, and transport laws, including any rules on vaccinations, health certificates, and the sale or rehoming of animals. Listings for animals that cannot legally be advertised or transferred are not permitted.
9. Prices and subscription
Each listing uses a subscription that renews every 2 months. Standard: $4.99 USD every 2 months. Premium: $9.99 USD every 2 months. All prices are in US dollars. A payment card is required, including during the free promotional period.
10. Free first listing and automatic renewal
Accounts created from October 15 through October 18, 2026, inclusive, in America/New_York are eligible for 2 free months on their first listing, on the selected Standard or Premium plan, once per account. Your card is collected with $0 due today. At the end of the free period, the selected plan renews automatically at $4.99 USD for Standard or $9.99 USD for Premium every 2 months until cancelled. The first charge date and amount are shown before card entry. Stripe sends reminders 7 days before renewal. Cancel in Dashboard > My listings > Cancel renewal: the listing remains active until the end of its current period, then is hidden from public search while its data stays in your account. Before that period ends, use Resume renewal to restore automatic renewal.
11. Refunds
Once a listing is published, the payment is not refunded, except where Florida law requires it, or where the listing could not be published because of a fault on our side.
12. Failed payment
If a payment is declined or not completed, the listing is not published.
13. Suspension and removal
We may suspend or remove a listing or account that breaks these Terms, is fraudulent, unsafe, or illegal, or that involves an animal whose transfer is restricted by law. If a listing is removed for a reason on our side, we may offer a replacement listing period at our discretion.
14. Disputes and arbitration
Any dispute between My Equine Adopt LLC and a user, or between users concerning this website, will be resolved by individual, binding arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act. The arbitration takes place in Florida, in English, before one neutral arbitrator. Each party pays its own costs unless the arbitrator decides otherwise. Claims within the jurisdiction of the Florida small claims court may be brought there instead. Either party may seek urgent interim relief from a court. You may opt out of this arbitration clause by sending written notice to myequineadopt@hotmail.com within 30 days of your first purchase or account creation.
15. Class action waiver
To the fullest extent the law allows, you waive any right to take part in a class action, collective action, or representative action against My Equine Adopt LLC. Each dispute is resolved individually.
16. Content licence
You keep ownership of the content you publish. You grant My Equine Adopt LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display, and reproduce that content as needed to operate the service.
17. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, My Equine Adopt LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from any adoption, sale, or other agreement between users, or from the health, behaviour, history, or welfare of any animal.
18. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless My Equine Adopt LLC, its officers, members, and staff from claims arising from your use of the website, your listings, or your agreements with other users.
19. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
20. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will notify users of material changes before they take effect.
21. General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
